Among what values is a piece of lamb?
Terrible service. We waited over an hour for the food and when we asked the waitress she said o the chef cooks what he’s in the mood not based on when u come. To make matters when we asked for more bread while waiting they gave it to us with a shrug.
Nice, cozy, friendly atmosphere, tasty food!!!
As an assuage lover, The suave met my expectation. Lamb was absolute amazing.
Excellent, very attentive, well attended, very nice restaurant! Rich food and very good atmosphere, far the best of Puerto Natales! Thank you
It was just perfect! The BBQ chef works very hard and the lamb is excellent: 0)
We had a faaantastic time here and the meats were deliciously prepared by chef Andres and courteously served by our server Hector. Excellent service by these two gentlemen and would highly recommend to visit this place if they are present. The meat was the best I’ve had since I arrived in Chile. Great experience and great job guys!!! Bravo!!
it was great..
You can watch your meet being grilled in front of you in this local grill house. If you choose the lamb, come with an empty stomach, the portions are huge. Steaks were tasty and prepared perfectly to the requested heat.
They obviously have a deal with some of the taxi drivers and hotels as both our driver and the hotel recommended the place. I'd say that "the best in town" designation is questionable. I'd call it an OK little picada. Chilean service is infamous in South America, and this was below average. They flog the Magallanes style lamb, as do a flock of other restaurants. It's OK but nothing to write home about. We had a Chilean salad (tomato and onion, in this case with ají (chili)) that was good. There are better places in town.
How good can you rate a place when the service is terrible?Arrived at 10:40pm (a sign on the door says it closes at 11pm). There where 2-2person tables (one in a tiny space, the other on the way to the kitchen), 2-4person and 1-6person. The waitress with a poor attitude tell us we have to sit at a 2-person table (15 min before the kitchen closes), we didn’t want to because of the issues explained before. So they tell us we have to hurry and order... ok; the rest of the attention was rude and didn’t bring bread, nor the wine I ordered. All the people working there seemed to be having a terrible day. I’d not recommend because of its service.
We came here late right before closing. They agreed to serve us but then rushed us through the menu. Everything was in spanish (which is fine if I had time to read it). We were served two rare poor cuts of steak and a sad salad of lettuce tomato and onion. The meat was very rare (my partner requested welldone). I love rare meat but these cuts were stringy and tough. I was gagging trying to swallow this food. I think if they were going to serve us a rushed meal they shouldn't have agreed to serve us. We didn't enjoy this meal at all, worst food we ate in Chile.
really great lamb asado
Great and tasty beef, nice ambient.
Horrible service! We were in a very small table and I politely asked the waitress for another table because the place was almost empty and she said no, I asked why and she told me that if we don't like the table we can go to another place. I followed her suggestion and definitely don't recommend this place to anyone.
Onion soup was very good. Waitress spent a lot of time looking at her cell phone so it was hard to get her attention.
Awesome, elegant and tasty. Best Parrillada in Natales
Reception a little confused but very nice place, all in wood, warm (even too much, near the parrilla) and welcoming. Excellent choice of meats from their prestigious reference farms. Great fusion between Patagonian cuisine and Slavic peasant tradition handed down by the ancestors of these breeders, moved here in the last century.
Excellent meat restaurant, with a very good preparation on the grill. Prices are a bit expensive, but within all reasonable for latitude and remoteness. Very nice decoration, with furniture from an old apothecary. The tables somewhat weak and unstable, several times were about to turn around. Except that, all excellent.
My girlfriend and I went here last night. I ordered ribs she ordered steak (lomo). Her steak was so gamey that I could smell it across the table. She kept trying to eat it because she didn't want to be "those" Americans. After 1/4 of it she decided she couldn't continue and we told the waitress as she brought us the bill. The waitress kind of shrugged and asked me if I'd like to tip. Only when we said no and insisted there was something wrong with the meat did the waitress go back and try to take off some of the cost from the original price of the lomo. My meal was better but not by much. I'd equate it to short ribs I would expect at an Applebee's. We were excited to eat here from a recommendation from our host so it was quite disappointing to say the least. We just came from el chalten Argentina where the beef is all unbelievable so it may be fair to say we were walking into this place a bit spoiled. The potatoes and chicken soup were wonderful.
We were drawn in by decent reviews and a warm ambience, but were shocked by the quality of food that was served. I observed the chef grilling meats straight from the refrigerator without resting them to room temperature, and seasoning the meats on the grill instead of before they were seared. Unsurprisingly, the cuts of meat we were served were tough and under-seasoned. My friend ordered a wagyu steak, but it was sinewy and was nowhere close to what wagyu should be. The medium steak was served somewhere between medium well to well done. For a similar price you can get much better food in Puerto Natales!
No bookings taken, so in busy times be prepared to wait. We were ok at 7.30pm. Just get the lamb. It is cooked Argentine style over wood coals and is lovely. Wine list is decent and not expensive. Good service. Just go...
Excellent attention very rich food, top quality
The lamb is so good!
Very good meat and local. Fast and efficient attention. The prices are high, but the products are top quality. The lamb is exquisite.
The meat was hard and thought to chew, overpriced.
Very good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was Soooooooo yummy!! If you're in Natales, this is a must.
The meat was perfectly cooked, but the cut was too tough to chew through.
Lamb was delicious and huge serving. Service was fast.
Cutest place we've ever been. Incredible service, they were very nice and recommended the two dished we had. Me, as a steak lover, had the Wagyu beef, and my partner, who'd rather have white meat, had red instead (a short rib dish). Both (!) were absolutely amazingly cooked, with the Wagyu being the best that I've had in forever. And I've had rather a few... or 100.The service was kind and attentive. Even though it got very busy by the time we had our dishes, there was no shortage of attention for us. They recommended the best wines to go with the dishes and tought us the Patagonian way of cooking. All in all, an amazing experience. I recommend going in early, because this absolutely amazing restaurant fills up quickly.
Terrible service. I wasn’t allowed to choose my own table. 👎
very good food
Just amazing good food! We loved the beef and wine and the pisco sour!
Good meat and delicious grilled lamb. I couldn't taste the Lamb to the stick because it was over. I recommend you ask before sitting down to avoid inconvenience.
This restaurant is very bad. Food was mediocre and expensive. $70 without the wine for 1 soup, 1 salad, 2 orders of tough, thin, overcooked lamp chops and a side of mashed potatoes. Service poor with no attempt to try and communicate in English. Many MUCH better options in Puerto Natales Chile
Amazing if you are in Porto Natales 4 one night is a MUST!!!!
Excellent food and wine, as well as friendly service!
I don’t understand the other ratings, this is the second time I come after one year, food is excellent and service is outstanding, I recommend the Cordero Don Juan or the Wagyu Steak, will come back again next time
I loved it, 100% recommended, hot and comfortable food, very good attention 👌
Delicious steak house with fresh grilled meat from a real fire. Wide selection of cuts and a good range of sides. Staff could be a bit more smiling and interested.
Eating a Magellanic lamb, I realized that Brazilian still has to learn better to make a lamb. It was probably the best I've ever had, very well prepared. The service was also very good, even arriving almost at the time of closing the service. The only caveat was the place we took, which was very close to the door, because every time someone came in and out the wind came up. But it was the only place available. Prices in Chile are a bit high.
excellent food
Amazing lamb and good wine ... very cozy place
Excelent food. Smiling and welcoming staff. Recommend BBQ lamb, cordero al palo. Restaurat open at 19.00 for this meal and all seats where taken within 10 minutes of opening, so be early for a seat.
Perfect food, vine, ..... 🍷👌😊
Excellent food.
How not to say that they are the best when they receive you like this after a year?Besides that the food is very good 🤤
Exquisite, so you can simply describe how delicious the dishes were. I recommend you try the roast strip that was great, accompanied by a beer, and a fresh and varied salad. The cozy atmosphere and a very good attention. Congratulations to the grill master and the blonde waitress who was very kind and attentive.
Excelent meat, awesome. Really good service and food
Great barbeque lamb! Service could have been a little better.
